This small extract from Sri Gur Nanak Parkash Granth, shows the immense Satkaar and Prem Bebe Nanaki Ji had for Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. When Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji arrived at Sultanpur Lodhi, Bebe Nanaki Ji ran towards Guru Ji and placed her forehead on Guru Ji's Charan. Guru Ji said that it was not Bebe Ji's place to bow to her younger brother, instead, it was their duty to bow down to Bebe Ji as she was elder. At that time Bebe Nanaki Ji said the following words:
ਕਹੈ ਨਾਨਕੀ 'ਸਾਚ ਜੈਸੇ ਬਖਾਨੀ । Bebe Nanaki Ji said, "What I say is the truth! ਜੁਈ ਹੋਇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ਕਹੋ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਨੀ। If I only considered you my brother, then I would accept what you say (not to bow down to Guru Ji) ਨਹੀਂ ਭ੍ਰਾਤ ਕਾਂਕੇ, ਜਗੰਈਸ਼ ਪੇਖੋਂ। You are not anyone's brother, you are the Master of all Creation! ਰਿਦੈ ਆਪਨੇ ਮੈਂ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਾ ਭਿ ਲੇਖੋਂ॥੫੦॥ I do not see you as my younger brother (as you are the form of Vaheguru.) ਨ ਆਦੰ ਨ ਅੰਤੰ ਬਿਅੰਤੰ ਸਰੂਪੰ। You are the form of the infinite Vaheguru who has no beginning or end. ਪਿਤਾ ਹੈ ਨ ਮਾਤਾ ਨ ਬੰਧੰ ਅਨੂਪੰ। You have no mother, father or relatives. ਨਿਜੰ ਇੱਛ ਤੇ ਦੇਹਿ ਧਾਰੀ ਦਯਾਲੰ। According to your merciful nature, you have taken this human form ਉਧਾਰੰਨ ਮੰਦੰ ਜਗੰ ਜੀਵ ਜਾਲੰ॥੫੧॥ In order to save the people of this world from the net of corruption and sin. ਕਲੀ ਕਾਲ ਮਾਂਹੀ ਬਿਥਾਰੋ ਸੁਚਾਲੀ। In the age of Kaljug, you have taken this form to spread high moral deeds, ਮਿਟਾਵੋ ਕੁਪੰਥੰ ਕੁਦੰਬੰ ਕੁਚਾਲੀ। and to destroy the evil path of false practices and hypocrisy. ਐਸ ਹੀ ਮੋਹਿ ਕੋ ਦਾਨ ਦੀਜੈ। In the same manner O Guru Ji! bless me with this gift... ਮਤੰ ਨ ਬਿਸਾਰੋ ਕਬੈ, ਯੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸੀਜੈ॥੫੨॥ May I never forget you in my mind, be pleased upon me in this way.”
